You will find rolling terrain as well as world class golfing, though as mentioned it is fairly expensive; you can expect to pay up to $460 for a two night stay at the Club and use of all of the courses.
Other good expensive and world class courses include the Forest Dunes Golf Club which offers a rare golfing experience. It has glacial sand deposits as well as rolling dunes and wildflowers and large beautiful pines. It truly is an amazing experience though you should expect to pay up to $479 for 3 bedroom lodging and golf. So, when looking for expensive golf vacations Northern Michigan is definitely a great place to look.
• The Lesser Expensive Courses
If you are on a bit of a budget then don’t worry there are still some courses which cater for your needs. If you can afford $116 per night then the Black Forest at Wilderness Valley may be just what you are looking for. The $116 per night is to stay at the Ostego Club and it includes accommodation and golf in the package. The course there is known as a hidden gem and each hole is designed with maple, oak and pine trees surrounding them, making them look like isolated islands. They are designed to be challenging so the keen golfer will love simply love it at this fantastically designed course.
Overall when looking for golf vacations, Northern Michigan is a great place to start looking. There is literally something for all golfing abilities and all budgets too.
